From grassroots organisers to major institutions, the week showcased the power of collective action in every corner of the city.

We’re inviting event hosts from all walks of life to help shape a week-long program that’s community-led, solutions-focused, and driven by collaboration. If your work inspires action on climate — there's a place for you in the 2026 program.

• Art installations and performances
• Exhibitions and film screenings
• Guided walks and community tours
• Youth-led initiatives and First Nations conversations

What makes Climate Action Week Sydney different?

Climate Action Week Sydney was created as an open platform — a space where solutions, stories, and community energy can thrive. Earlier this year, it became one of the largest decentralised climate events in Australia, with events hosted by universities, grassroots organisers, cultural institutions, startups, non-profits, government agencies and more.

And it’s all made possible by volunteers, community support, and the belief that local action drives global change. Whether you joined us in 2024 or 2025, or this is your first time hearing about the week — we’re inviting you to be part of it.
